We don't have a list of contractors. We have one, per trade, and they had to earn it — a written standard, in-person inspections of their finished work, calls to their past customers that they didn't get to pick.
Here's the part that actually matters: our name is the one on the job. We sell the same neighborhoods every week and we'll be back on those streets next year. A bad install costs us far more than it costs the contractor who did it — which is exactly why we hold back part of their money until one of our own inspectors walks your finished job.
We vet them

We stand behind it

It's a real name. It's my grandmother's.
Lummele started as a nickname — the one my grandmother gave me. It's a play on Lümmel, German for a rascal: a little too curious, a little too bold, never quite content to sit still.
There's a reason that matters here. This industry is full of companies that appear after a hailstorm with a name nobody has heard of and vanish before the shingles settle. We named this business after family, and we're not going anywhere. That's also why we're this careful about whose work we put it on.
